Bookish Would You Rather

Hello guys!
I wanted to take a break from all this reviews going on and while browsing through my youtube subscriptions, I found a cool video by booksandquills, doing this tag. So here it is, a bookish would you rather!

Would you rather…
1. Read only trilogies or stand alones?
Stand alones! I’ve mention it before bit I have the hardest time committing to series. It takes up a lot of time that I could be spending reading other books.
2. Read only female or male authors?
I’ve read more female authors this year already than in the rest of my life. Those have been some of the most enjoyable books I’ve ever read! So, I’ll go with female authors.
3. Shop at bookshops or online?
Urgh this is a hard one. Here in Portugal, the titles available aren’t the most diverse. Also, the prices aren’t that accessible with the kind of budget that I have. So, I order online mostly (or buy secondhand). In an ideal world, I would get the same books with the same prices that I get online in a bookshop (since I love to support local businesses). But today, I will say online.
4. All books become movies or t.v. shows?
Tv shows no doubt! So much more detail and important plot lines!
5. Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
5 books per week! What a life!
6. Be a professional reviewer or author?
Professional reviewer, for sure! As much as I love to read what other write, I think that I have absolutely no talent for writing whatsoever. There’s no point in writing a book if others can’t enjoy it.
7. Only read your top 20 favorite books over and over or always read new ones that you haven’t read before?
Always read new ones! I’m not that big of a fan of re-reads, even though I do that occasionally. My time is so short and limited, I want to read as much as I can while I still can.
8. Be a librarian or bookseller?
I’m not sure I can actually choose… I think I’ll go with librarian? I don’t know why but it sounds slightly more easy. Or I’m just wrong. I would love to be a bookseller too!
9. Only read your favourite genre, or every genre except your favourite?
I mostly just read my favourite genres so that!
10. Only read physical books or eBooks?
As much as I’m beginning to love e-books, nothing beats a good physical book. It’s that magic smell!
